Agriculture in Indonesia

In general, the Indonesian livelihood is based on cultivation of  food crops, plantation, forestry, horticulture, stock-breeding and fishery.  The Indonesian history since colonial era until now can not be separated from agriculture because of this sector plays the most important role in deciding the formulation of the economical and society in varies Indonesian culture. 


Farm is the sort of agriculture which is conducted on the wetland and need much water. In Indonesia much farming is planted by the farmer with rice. In 2009, Indonesia is the third level of the largest rice producer all over the world. Here is the table that shows the level
